wondering what people's thoughts on cape are
personally i think it's ridiculously OP. fully upgraded cape costs about the same as a single spell upgrade. has no drawbacks like the 2nd most powerful item cursed ring. if i'm in a game and another skilled player buys a cape my gameplan has to change. i'm forced to fully focus that single person with all my spells until they're dead or when it comes down to the end of the match i'll almost certainly be up against a guy at 100% hp when i'm likely around 50%.
it doesn't just make things more difficult, it promotes the passive playstyle that i'm sure you've all seen - pillar hugging, teleport maxing, running away constantly and just trying to outlast till the ring shrinks and they're absolutely forced to fight.
i don't think any other item is nearly as impactful. when i check others inventories i'm only looking for 2 things - do they have a cursed ring then i consider maybe picking up grip if that spell slot is still open, and do they have a cape. cursed ring seems balanced from the drawback which can be pretty brutal if a few people picked up grip/drain.
i would actually like the item to just be removed just because i find the passive running away playstyle to be really antifun and it's entirely enabled by this item. if that's not an option i would really like to see a negative effect added like increased knockback, or maybe just balancing it by price would be okay - perhaps double the cost it currently it is now.

p.s. buff magnetize and that summon rock thing, nobody uses them
